About Vianey Almaguer
Maria “Vianey” Almaguer joins Monclova Law as an Immigration Law Clerk. As a first-generation Mexican American, she is a passionate advocate for her immigrant community. She earned a dual degree in Political Science and Economics, with a minor in Mexican-American Studies, from the University of Houston. In 2026, she earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Law School.
Throughout her academic journey, Vianey found opportunities to serve communities in Texas and Colorado. She coordinated legal aid for vulnerable individuals in Texas and volunteered with several initiatives serving noncitizens. During law school, she served as president of the Immigration Law and Policy Society (ILPS). Vianey looks forward to learning from the Monclova Law team and providing exceptional advocacy for its clients.
