About Carolyn Bayens
Carolyn Bayens joins monclova law as Family Law Attorney. Carolyn approaches family law with a focus on clarity, compassion, and advocacy, informed by her experience working with families. Before attending law school, she worked as a teacher in Chicago, which sparked her interest in advocacy and family-centered work. She later worked as a paralegal at a family law firm, gaining experience in domestic relations and solidifying her path to family law.
Carolyn earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Illinois at Chicago School of Law. She worked as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Rosa M. Silva in the Domestic Relations Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County. Carolyn has also worked with organizations dedicated to family safety and access to justice, including Between Friends, a domestic violence advocacy organization, and the Rocky Mountain Victim Law Center, where she assisted attorneys in providing legal services to victims of crime. Following law school, Carolyn worked as an attorney at a family law firm in Denver, where she represented clients in a wide range of domestic relations matters.
Outside of work, Carolyn enjoys taking advantage of the outdoor adventures Colorado has to offer.
