Maria Monclova is the founder of Monclova Law. María is an immigration and family law attorney. She was born in Mexico and since childhood she dreamed of defending the rights of immigrants. Maria attended the University of Denver School of Law and has over 15 years of experience fighting against the deportation and separation of families in this country. Her passion is defending the rights of her immigrant community and ensuring that everyone has equal access to our judicial system regardless of immigration status. In the family law branch, Maria helps clients with divorce and custody cases. In her free time she likes to exercise and watch Mexican soap operas.

Scott attended Colorado College and the University of Denver School of Law. At DU I studied International Law and Human Rights. For Scott, immigration is a vital topic of international law and an important way to protect people at risk of human rights violations in other countries. Scott works to defend the human rights of our clients, whether they are at risk in the United States or abroad.
Milo Sanchez

Originating from Chihuahua, Mexico, Milo Sanchez is a teacher by profession and a radio host with over 30 years of experience in Denver, Colorado. He has dedicated his career to informing and guiding the immigrant community, combining his passion for media with a strong commitment to promoting awareness of rights and laws in the United States, especially regarding immigration issues.
Through his radio programs, he has collaborated with attorneys such as María Monclova and Arturo Vázquez to provide reliable and accessible information. Milo also maintains a strong connection with the community, offering close support to those facing personal and family legal processes on their journey toward a stable life in this country.

My name is Adriana, I was born in Ciudad Juárez, I am in the Accounting area, I really like what I do because it gives me the opportunity to help clients and understand the situation they are going through, I am the first person they have contact and I can see that sometimes they arrive with many fears. I am the person who is bothering them a lot, calling them constantly, and I understand how hard they work to achieve the American dream, and that is very satisfying since I know that it is a sacrifice that is worth it.
In my free time I really like to walk with my family, go to the movies, listen to music and dance.
Rosita Vázquez

Rosita Vazquez is a dedicated professional who has been an essential part of Monclova Law since day one. As the very first person to join the firm, she has played a key role in building it from the ground up over the past 17 years, helping shape it into the trusted legal practice it is today.
A proud Mexican woman and the daughter of immigrant parents, Rosita’s personal story has deeply influenced her passion for immigration law. Her background fuels her commitment to serving the community with empathy, understanding, and unwavering respect.
Rosita began her career at Monclova Law as an Immigration Paralegal and Accountant, skillfully balancing legal and administrative responsibilities in the early stages of the firm. As the firm’s presence grew and client needs expanded, she transitioned into a full-time paralegal role, specializing in immigration cases.
Today, Rosita serves as the firm’s Office Manager, overseeing daily operations and supporting the team to ensure that every client receives the highest level of service. Her journey is a reflection of what Monclova Law stands for—dedication, resilience, and a deep respect for the immigrant experience.
Diego Macias
Lead Paralegal
Diego Macias is a dedicated immigration professional with over two and a half years of experience in the field. Originally from Colorado, he comes from a proud heritage, with his father hailing from Zacatecas, Mexico. Diego earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Criminal Justice from Metropolitan State University of Denver. Passionate about law and justice, he aspires to become an attorney, with a long-term goal of serving as a judge. Committed to expanding his knowledge of immigration law, Diego hopes to attend the University of Colorado Law School while continuing to work part-time with Monclova Law. His ultimate ambition is to specialize in criminal law while continuing to advocate for individuals navigating the complexities of the legal system. Outside of his professional aspirations, Diego is a passionate sports fan, with a deep love for Arsenal FC.
Kevin Garzón
Paralegal
Kevin Garzón is the newest addition to Monclova Law, joining the team as an immigration paralegal. Originally from Chicago, Kevin moved to Colorado to fully apply his skills and passion for helping others. The son of parents from Puebla, Mexico, Kevin was raised with a strong sense of urgency to support marginalized communities and a work ethic shaped by determination and lived experience. He graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and earned minors in Psychology and Latin American/Latino/a Studies. While in school, he interned at a nonprofit organization, where he learned the importance of community involvement and advocacy for underserved groups. Kevin brings those values and experiences to his role at Monclova Law, where he is dedicated to serving clients and contributing to the broader community.
In his free time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his long-term girlfriend and their cat. His hobbies include learning new recipes, playing basketball at his local gym, and relaxing with video games.
Lenny Alfaro

At Monclova Law, Lenny Alfaro serves as the family law paralegal. Lenny has been assisting the immigrant community for thirteen years. Having gone through the immigration process herself, Lenny is a first-generation Mexican immigrant who understands directly how difficult and frightening it can be to be ignorant of your rights. Lenny has a strong commitment to supporting the immigrant community and ensuring that clients are aware of the family court procedure. Lenny is currently pursuing her AAS in paralegal studies at Front Range Community College (FRCC).
Lenny is a mother of two kids and a pet owner. When Lenny has free time, she enjoys spending it with her spouse and their two kids. They enjoy swimming and hiking. Lenny recognizes the importance of the family.
Rene W. Nuñez Castro
Paralegal
Rene W. Nuñez Castro is the newest addition to Monclova Law, joining the team as an immigration paralegal. Rene earned his law degree in El Salvador in 2022. At the end of 2023, he moved to the United States to pursue a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the Universidad del Pacífico, McGeorge School of Law, which he completed in May 2025. During his graduate studies, he collaborated at an Immigration Clinic, providing legal assistance to low-income immigrants and refugees. He has also assisted his own family with the preparation and filing of immigration forms with USCIS. Rene is currently in the process of obtaining his license to practice law in California, with the goal of practicing immigration law and serving the Latino community.
Yaritza Munoz

At Monclova Law, Yaritza serves as the filing clerk, where she manages and organizes all important paperwork, ensuring that everything is processed efficiently and accurately. Her attention to detail and dedication are vital to keeping the office running smoothly, supporting both the team and the clients we serve. Yaritza is the daughter of immigrants and has a deep understanding of the challenges many individuals face when navigating the immigration system. This personal connection fuels her passion for supporting underrepresented families and helping them achieve the representation and guidance they deserve. Proud of her Mexican heritage, Yaritza stays connected to her culture through extracurricular activities that allow her to celebrate and honor her roots. Outside of work, she is a dedicated mom who enjoys spending quality time outdoors with her daughter, embracing the importance of family and nature.
